 An Open House event was created to showcase the planes,
hangar and services of Northstar. A special invite designed as an airline
ticket was created and mailed to the target audience.
The invite enticed prospects to attend this event with the opportunity
to win flight related prizes and the grand prize of an exclusive private
flight for four from Canton, Ohio to Franklin, Pennsylvania where they
would enjoy a delicious dinner and tours by air.
Guests attending the open house also had the opportunity take a flight
around the area with a Northstar pilot. Balloons that looked like clouds,
a red carpet and a full catered buffet added to the themed event. Public
relations efforts were also employed with local print and TV media being
contacted.
