First place was presented to Traymore's Creative Director, Bruce Felber, in the Business-to-Business Solo Direct Mail category at the annual NODMA luncheon at The Playhouse Club for a dimensional direct mail co-op program for The Diebold Corporation. The promotion challenge was to inform bank clients of the Diebold 'Ultimate Guarantee' and encourage sales. The program featured Pizza Hut gift certificates for free pizza inside a regulation-weight ultimate flyer. All the materials arrived in a vividly decorated pizza box. Prospects received the free pizza for allowing Diebold to provide a quotation on the bank's supply contracts. Connie Corey, Diebold Call Center Manager, reported a 12% response rate in less than two months. "We feel a 12% response rate is phenomenal!" said Corey." Our initial objective of trying to 'get our foot in the door' has been very successful and our customers have enjoyed the fun campaign." Third Place was also awarded to Traymore Marketing for their work on a media promotion for Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. The promotional objective was to gain media coverage of their annual FrightFest event. Traymore Marketing developed a printed toilet paper roll with a custom message. The boxed roll was sent to over 600 media professionals. The invitation enticed them to visit the event and in turn, report about it in their publications. " We received dozen of phone calls from reporters wanting more information about FrightFest and encouraged them to come out for this event", said Shannon Pak, PR Manager for Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. This is the second award for both Traymore and Six Flags. A SILVER PYRAMID in the Promotional Products Association International's 44th Golden Pyramid Award Competition was awarded in January for the promotion of the X-Flight flying coaster. This is the sixth award Traymore Marketing has received in the last several years for their varied clients. The annual Direct Marketing Awards were judged by the Detroit Direct Marketing Association, NODMA's sister organization.
